The Brussels-based SME is interested in joining a consortium under HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-06 – “Optimising multimodal network and traffic management, harnessing data from infrastructures, mobility of passengers and freight transport”. Joint applications under other EU funding instruments (DUT partnership, Eurostars…) could also be discussed.
As multi-modal mobility hubs become a reality in parking lots, parking owners need to tackle challenges like parking optimization, integration of new mobility forms (soft mobility, charging zones, etc.), data collection, management of mixed used flows, sharing spots with external users etc. Besides, the user access experience needs to be elevated. Their software solution addresses these challenges for the building managers by creating a frictionless parking experience while coping with their security and operational realities. The SME therefore believes they could contribute meaningfully to a consortium’s activities working on these aspects of multimodal network and traffic management.
Added value of the Brussels-based SME to the prospective consortium:
-As a parking management system, the Brussels-based SME is responsible for access control decisions, it takes care of occupancy management, it integrates rights management and it facilitates pricing and payment. They provide clarity and autonomy to end-users, setup and management features to administrators, overview and control to security functions. Working with open APIs enables them to build ecosystems, integrating with the clients’ toolstack and service offerings.
-They enable their clients to increase their parking lot capacity, to promote alternative mobility forms (increase the usage of car sharing, bikes and other soft mobility), to control their investments (sharing resources means less resources are needed as a start) while reducing overall CO2 emissions.
-Given their operations, capabilities, features, and network, they are looking forward to bringing the parking lot dimension to build new mobility ecosystems. By connecting parking lot availability and accessibility to other mobility services, they can improve the mobility journey of commuters by offering them new options and required services (secured bike parking, EV charging points, etc.).
